Bilawal Bhutto Zardari (Urdu: بلاوال بحضور) (born 25 April 1988) is a Pakistani political and social activist and the youngest son of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto. He is the son of late Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari and has two older brothers: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari. He later went on to study at Harvard University in the United States. On 30 January 2013, Bilawal held a press conference in Islamabad announcing his impending return to Pakistan following the passage of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution which allows dual nationality in the country. Bilawal stated that he would seek political office in Pakistan in due course "and I will fight for this in any way possible." During his press conference, Bilawal stated that he hoped that he would be able to bring back "The idea that no politician should run with so much baggage", referring to his father's large baggage of criminal charges against him. He also stated that he would "try harder than ever" to bring back peace between India and Pakistan.

He attended school at Karachi's National College for Boys until he finished secondary school at age 16 when he enrolled in Harvard University. A few months into his freshman year at Harvard University, Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on 27 December 2007 amid growing political unrest, leaving him without a father figure. He has spoken publicly about how her death affected him, saying that she had provided him with "a strong foundation upon which I am able to stand".
